Join the IFMA Central Ohio Chapter for an engaging and educational event hosted at SWACO. Established in 1989, SWACO was created to reduce reliance on landfills and increase recycling efforts across 52 districts in Ohio. Since then, the organization has played a vital role in advancing sustainable waste management and environmental education throughout Central Ohio.

During this event, attendees will gain valuable insight into SWACO’s daily operations and learn more about composting, recycling initiatives, and available grant opportunities that support sustainability efforts within our communities and facilities. SWACO’s team will provide an informative presentation highlighting the processes and programs they manage each day to help reduce waste and improve environmental impact.

Following the educational session, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a guided landfill tour of the SWACO facility for a firsthand look at their operations in action.

Breakfast pastries and coffee will be provided for all attendees.
